Alessia and Sandro Allegri were truly impressed with the SCHÖNER WOHNEN house whose cubic shape, without any projections or recesses, not only provides a great deal of living space on smaller plots, but also saves energy. The Allegri's house is the first Minergie A Standard house to be built in Tessin. This means that it produces more energy than the occupants need for heating, hot water and household appliances. Now the family of four consumes 40 percent less energy today than they did in their old home.
