Doppelhaus als KfW Effizienzhaus 40 Plus

Semi-Detached House as KfW Efficiency House 40 Plus

Plan E 20-135.4

Ecological timber construction, energy efficiency and high-comfort living in a compact space. In the Allgäu, Schwörer construction advisor Christoph Denlöffel has built a semi-detached house as a KfW Efficiency House 40 Plus for his family of four. 21 PV modules on the roof, an energy storage system and extremely well-insulated walls make this semi-detached house a KfW Efficiency House 40 Plus. The regulated ventilation with heat recovery ensures a pleasant indoor climate at all times.

Mr Denlöffel enjoys giving interested visitors a tour through the modern semi-detached house so they can see the excellent quality of the SchwörerHaus for themselves. "It’s impressive to see how much space the classic pitched roof house has to offer." His wife, Jenny, is thrilled with the healthy indoor climate thanks to regulated ventilation and the low-emission construction methods practised by SchwörerHaus. The highly heat-insulated building envelope and triple-glazed windows means that the KfW Efficiency House 40 Plus does not need any conventional heating.
